Baylor University at Dusk
Here's an evening photo from the third floor of Baylor University Law School's library. If you look closely, you'll see my car. The building in the back ground is actually a parking garage ("Garage Mahal").
Baylor University Law School's Gummy Bear
Here is the infamous Baylor Gummy Bear--you either love it or hate it. Most students mock it, as do certain members of the faculty when they are sure the donors can't hear. Several local establishments have pictures of this bear hangin to show their support of Baylor University.

Where I spend my days (and evenings, and weekends, and early mornings). Though students are stricly forbidden from bringing food into the library, tan tables were used for a VIP meal a few days before I took the picture.

Here I am with my fiance, Laura, on Christmas Day, 2005. We are standing outside at the College of the Ozarks--and it is freezing!

I'm sitting between John and Jenna, watching Rick lead the choir during the Christmas production at Chalk Bluff Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.

I felt bad about writing so little about each picture from our trip to the zoo. To ease my guilty conscience, I went back and added comments to the pictures; however, to read these additional witty comments (and rather bland comments as well), you need to click on each picture individually. Yes, I know this is a rotten thing to do on a blog (sorry), but because of a bug in the way that the photo program and the blog template work together, I can’t go back to the pictures on the blog and add the comments.
I actually had way too much fun writing little comments for each photo (we'll call this my "I don't want to get back to studying" phase). Enjoy!

Our Visit to Cameron Park Zoo
Well, this week I finished another set of finals--I am no longer a first year student, but now I am officially a "2L." Well, to celebrate Laura and I spent about two hours at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas. The zoo is very nice--we were impressed--but we were also ready to leave after two hours. Good thing to, because I really didn't have that much time off (lots of homework to do before classes start back up bright and early Monday morning). Well, Laura and I enjoyed our time at the zoo--you can enjoy some of the photos I took at the zoo.

Waco in the Fall
This is a picture I took just outside of my complex. I shot this picture at dusk with 800 ISO and the camera was handheld (1/3 sec.). What was my motivation for taking this photo? Well, it's finals week and I needed to get my nose out of my outlines for a few minutes.

A Little Country Church
Well, this is the location that Laura and I are looking at to tie the knot. Just in case you can't tell from the picture, we're thinking about the "little country church" theme. If you want to know more details about decorating plans, just ask Laura...she would love to share with you.
Ethan Joins CABC
Yes, I snapped a picture in church. My friend Ethan joined Columbas Avenue Baptist Church today, so I quickly snapped a picture (Ethan, thanks for smiling for the camera). Unfortunately, I was in such a rush to take the picture that I didn't hold my hand too steady.

I just found this in my inbox and thought it was worth sharing:
A media watch group alleged this week that Yahoo gave the Chinese government access to e-mails sent from a journalist's personal Web account, helping land him a 10-year jail sentence.
